5'9 and the medium was a nice length. Material feels great: rich but not too heavy. Look almost like denim. I am 155 and almost always a medium in pants (6/8) but I am going to try a large in these for a more wide leg style. My back curves were highlighted a little more than I prefer, although some may like that fit.
