If you’re looking for a thin, cropped, square-fitting tee for summer, this is a good but overpriced option. If you’re looking for a favorite go-to, wear anywhere tee that can be dressed up or down and looks great on all body types, this may not be the best option. I’m 5’8, 150 lbs., 34 DD on top, and wear a size 6-8 jean. The large everyday pocket tee fits but runs short and is boxy on me. Not for someone taller hoping to hide their mid-section. Comfortable? Sure - but also on the thinner side. I typically layer my tees with a thin tank, and that doesn’t quite work with this style.
The original, relaxed, comfy v-neck pocket tee has been my go-to t-shirt for several years, which is why I gave this one a try. Unfortunately, this everyday pocket tee is a complete change and was not at all comparable to the past versions I have purchased. I loved the old tee so much, even at the $34-38 price point which I thought was a bit high, I bought several in as many colors as I could find. The old tee that was “retired” is my fave t-shirt of ALL time and that is saying something. I live in the South and the summer heat is brutal, but everything about the old tee was perfect; it could be worn year-round. It was the perfect length, perfect relaxed fit, great fabric blend that wasn’t too clingy but held its shape after heavy use, and would wash well (I always air-dried mine). They were trendy but timeless, shaped beautifully, and looked amazing on multiple body types. My 16 year-old niece…
