The top is fitted, the buttons of front are not functional so no gapping! The zipper at the side provides the opening and makes the fit close. For me the S was perfect. The sleeves hit my shoulders at the right place and the hem was exactly where i wanted it to be, just above the belly button.
The top is lined and the eyelet embroidery is very pretty. Comfortable and stylish, I have worn with shorts and a skirt . The main point is the fit, if you get a good fit you will be happy.

I wear a small in all other items I’ve bought from your website. I had to return this small and exchanged it for a medium. Even though the medium fits, getting it on and off is difficult. Whereas it fits, once on, with the side zipper wide open and pulling it on over my head, it is difficult to get over my shoulders. And my shoulders are very narrow. It’s beautiful and I’ll keep the medium, but it is pieced together poorly for a proper fit.

This looked like a really cute, well made top. Sadly I had to return it because the proportions were all wrong for my body type. I'm 5'2" and there was too much material in the shoulders causing the chest to gap awkwardly. I couldn't size down, because the current size was already snug on my hips. This wasn't really a crop top on me, which is great, but the fit was very awkward. Would probably be really cute on someone taller.
